Doing without the School

Hidden in remote corners of the subcontinent, far from the madding crowd are exciting experiments initiated by brave souls for doing away with the shackles of  structured, uninspiring, mundane routines that go by the name of school. Each in their own way offer a rich experience for the young learner. Be they hands-on learning while doing, community life,  learning from traditional customs and arts or traveling like the Sarang children. They have all successfully detached themselves from the school model of education.
